WUTLUT - FCP grading tool with photoshop like controls 09 Mar 2017 15:10 #86401

…How many times can you fuk up my name and insult my tool in one thread?…

Name corrected, sorry. Criticizing your tool - once. Insult? zero:

I dare to share some info for those who don't use Motion. And one should use scopes while CC.

Matching clips is no new topic. Mimicking processes from PS either.

… yep, be cool.

Cheers, I'm good and was just being snarky..

FTR I do wish I added the scopes, and still might when I find some time.

Also were you always a moderator or is that new? If so congrats :), I have to visit here more often.

First a big thanks, I did download your(FREE) PS plugin and will be playing with it further. I also, for the first time, worked my way out to your website and saw some of the insane ways you have been using Motion 5, especially the robot characters made out of fonts. Don't know what you are smoking(but I need to get me some of that) :S ...never seen anyone do what you did with this tool, like that. I suspect there are other tools out there that would make this kind of thing easier to do, but the fact that you got this tool to do it at all, is really awe inspiring. BRAVO! Norbz World is certainly a brave new world...out there.

Hey cheers thanks for that I appreciate it.

Yeah for a while there I was really pushing M5 as much as my machine would let me - however you're right, it is limiting and other tools (re 3D) are easier and more appropriate to work with for the stuff I was doing. It was a cool challenge to see how far it goes though and I'm still building stuff with it (just did some cool 3D visualizers for music with it and am impressed at the capabilities - check www.basspoetry.com to see what I mean).

Re the WUTLUT tool, I know it's not revolutionary but it's my go to tool now for pretty much all my footage grading I don't use luts at all anymore.

N.
