I've been having an issue recently where random gap clips will appear in my compound clips. For instance, I might be done with an edit and then decide to compound clip all the elements to create a clip I can throw a limiter on and tweak the subroles. At times, FCPX will insert a gap clip into the timeline of the compounded clip through the time of elements off. When I open the clip I see that several connected elements are off timing and I find one or more gap clips randomly created. This has also happened if I have a compound clip as one of my camera angles in a Multicam. The clip will randomly have a gap clip inserted throwing off the timeline and sync.
Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm having it happen across two computers, one iMac 40gb ram intel i5 and on a M1Max MacBook Pro 14inch, both running the latest version of Monterey and the latest FCPX (10.6.5).
