Ripple Training launch their $79 DaVinci Resolve Core Training course

Ripple Training have just launched their $79 DaVinci Resolve Core Training by Alexis Van Hurkman. Sample extracts and a discount coupon code after the break.

A venture off the Apple piste of training for Ripple, this time they have produced a $79 course on Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve. This isn't a short introduction either, the whole 53 lesson course runs 7 hours and covers not only the commercial version of Resolve 8, but also the free Lite version as well.

"Grading describes the process of adjusting the color, contrast, and overall look of a film or video as part of the finishing process. It is during this stage that a colorist works his or her magic to create visual continuity throughout each scene, fixes or adjusts lighting and quality issues encountered during the shoot, and shapes the overall look and mood of a film by adding visual style. DaVinci Resolve has set a new standard for color grading and digital mastering, and is being used on many of the most popular feature films, television shows, commercials, music videos and documentaries today."

Steve Martin has also emailed us the coupon code of 'resolve' which will give FCP.co readers a 15% discount until the end of the week (16th March). We thought we would post a few examples from the course to see what you will expect from Van Hurkman's custom training.
