Erik Widding of Birger Engineering demonstrates the latest working prototype of his Canon EOS to Micro 4/3, AF100 and Sony NEX adapters. These adapters bring the speed and flexibility of DSLR shooting to the AF100 and Sony NEX.

So these adapters enable you to share lenses between different cameras for different needs. Clearly a big bonus when you want to travel light and have multiple shooting set-ups to contemplate. Thanks once more to Dan Chung at DSLR News Shooter for this one. Widding claims his adapters provide full control of focus and aperture on all tested EOS lenses. He also showed a working prototype of a follow focus controller that works with the adapter and allows for rapid calibration and lens changes. Widding also said he expected shipping to begin in May.
